The wine is a coupage where the Tempranillo, present at 85%, predominates and is accompanied by 10% Graciano and 5% Maturana. Conde de Valdemar Gran Reserva has been aged for 32 months. Three quarters of the barrels in which it has been aged are French oak and the rest are American oak. Aromas of ripe red fruits, vanilla and spices are matched by a full-bodied and velvety texture, with a long and persistent finish. The wine's impeccable balance and complexity make it a perfect pairing for hearty meats and game dishes, as well as mature cheeses.
