Kith & Kin, Old English for “Friends & Family”, is a Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from all corners of the Napa Valley but with its heart rooted in Rutherford. This wine is approachable in its youth, with balanced tannins and a fruit-forward character. The vast majority of fruit comes from our estate, supplemented by a limited amount from Napa Valley growers. Notes of bright red cherry and cranberry mingle with a touch of allspice upon the nose. Notes of cassis, blackberry, and violet are complemented by classic Rutherford dust notes upon the palate. The rich fruit flavors and velvety tannins lead to a beautiful length and satisfying finish.
“A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, and 5% Petit Sirah, aged for 14 months in 50% new French oak barrels... it features beautifully ripened fruit notes akin to blackberries, black cherries, and ripe plums. Very skillfully made."
