Our wines grow on the North East facing slope in Eventide Estates Vineyard and root into shallow silt soils over basalt mother rock, creating limited yields of small clusters with vibrant flavors. 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 12 % Malbec. Fermented in steel with 21 days of skin contact. Cap management consisted of pump-overs twice daily. Aged in 25% new and 75% used French oak. Bright aromas of black currant, vanilla, and tobacco. On the palate bright and fruit-forward flavors with black cherry, fig, and sage. Sweet and savory with a long complex finish. 313 cases made.
