Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III is one of Napa Valley’s most revered sites — a piece of living history originally planted to vine in 1895 by Elizabeth Yount Rutherford. Developed by Georges de Latour in 1928 and launched to fame by Andre Tchelistcheff in the 1960s, “G3” is a 300-acre plot in the heart of Rutherford that continues to produce benchmark expressions of cabernet sauvignon. Complex and richly layered with tremendous power and weight, this wine is a showcase of luxurious texture and remarkable intensity. Lifted aromas of cedar, baking spice, and clove introduce a laser-focused palate that is packed with ripe red fruit, black cherry, and plum, flecked with notes of dark chocolate, graham cracker, and roasted coffee bean (1,710 bottles produced).
