With focus on its varietal character, the composition is 100% single vineyard Syrah aged in entirely neutral French oak barrels. Drinkable in its youth, this bottling will continue to evolve gracefully for many years. Ten years ago we received our first small load of Syrah grapes from the Solari Vineyard. We were seeking dark expressive contributors to our red table wine blend. After a year in barrel, Kelly sampled the young 10-barrel cuvée and declared it amazing and worthy of bottling on its own. In Kelly’s honor, the label bears her name.
