Thiénot Cuvée Garance Blanc de Rouges Champagne 2011 a powerful and elegant Champagne produced from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards. The Cuvée is aged for at least 8 years in Thiénots cellars at Rue des Moissons in Reims adding generous aromas of candied fruits and subtle cedar. “Garance” is the name of a plant from the rubiaceae family, whose roots were used in the past to produce a red dye, which is a bright, clear shade of red. Alain Thienot has dedicated this remarkable Blanc de Rouges blend to his daughter Garance.
