50% Pinot Noir 50% Chardonnay. '11, 12, 13...' is the only NV cuvée from Ruppert-Leroy. This cuvée comes from a perpetual reserve that includes wine from every parcel of the domaine dating back to 2011, plus organically-grown grapes purchased from friends in the Aube. The dominant terroir is clay-limestone, with a various proportion of red clay, gray clay, and white limestone. Aromas of hazelnut husk, orchard fruit and white flowers. Candied lemon rind, tart acidity and notes of bruised yellow apple and baking spice. Pour these bubbles with flakey breakfast pastries filled with custard or fruity jam, a hunk of crusty baguette with soft cheese and spiced nuts, or rich, spicy takeout from your favorite Indian restaurant.
