Vinous 90 pts. Dark purple. Blackberry and cranberry aromas, plus a bit of pepper and a fresh green note. Lots of bright cranberry at first on the palate, then ripe blueberry and plum as it glides from midpalate and finishes long and chalky, with a hint of graphite. Attractive and drinkable. From 30-year-old sandy tuffeau soils, aged 12 months on lees in 500-liter barrels, then four months in tank. Cabernet Franc.
