I love my wine rep’s notes about this wine: “You know Domaine de Marcoux, the great CDP producer. They make a small amount of CDR also, totally possible you've not seen it. Very grenache dominant, but also has bits of mourvedre, syrah and cinsault. Aged only in concrete. has the super provincial flavor that made all of us fall in love with Southern Rhone, Garrigued up and floral. Like the CDP (this wine is from 2 sites barely outside of CDP) it manages to be both powerful and elegant.”
