Taittinger's very first single-vineyard champagne, Les Folies de la Marquetterie is a blend of Chardonnays (45%) and Pinot Noir (55%), made exclusively from grapes grown at the Folies vineyard that overlooks the Chateau de la Marquetterie, the birthplace of the Taittinger family Champagne. On the nose, its intense, highly fruit aroma includes peaches and apricot jam with subtle toasted brioche and vanilla notes. It is full-bodied and fruit on the palate with golden peach flavors leading to a finish with light woody notes. This full-flavored, harmonious Champagne is distinguished by its immense richness and complexity.
