Smooth and supple tannins, expansive mouthfeel. A nice toasty oak finish. There is more power and weight from Lone Tree than the typical Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard. Most Alexander Valley wines are higher in alcohol, expressing primarily red fruit flavors. Forefathers Lone Tree shows medium alcohol, black fruit flavors and a round mouth feel with supple tannins.
