Located just 15 miles from the cool Pacific Coast, Hartford Family Winery was established in 1994. The winery specializes in single-vineyard production and the 7-acre 98-year-old Fanucchi-Wood Road Vineyard is found in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County. This is a classically dense and high-octane Zinfandel with intense notes of black cherry, kirsch, cassis, sandalwood and wild herbs. Opulent in flavor and supple in texture, it has no hard edges and glides across the palate with consummate ease and terrific balance.
