
We've said it before, and we'll say it again: Washington State gives you insane value in west coast Cabernet Sauvignon. Sarah Goedhart made this blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Syrah, and 8% Merlot sourced from Hedges Estate in Columbia Valley and Jolet and Les Gosses Vineyards in Red Mountain AVAs. Fermentation and aging occur in a variety of new, neutral, and older French and American oak barrels. Although CMS Cab spends almost a year and a half in wood, it is not over-oaked.
Full-bodied, dry. Deep red color with classic notes of cassis, pepper, blackberry, black figs, and baking spice. Tannic Cabernet is softened by Merlot and Syrah. Pair with meats, stews, and casseroles.
