Thal is the site of some of the Hiedler family’s first vineyards, which they have been cultivating since 1856. Thal is a gently sloping terraced vineyard in the southern portion of the Langenlois where the soil is a sandy and chalky loess. Fermented and raised entirely in stainless steel with extended contact on the fine lees, and partial malolactic fermentation.
