100% Syrah which includes portions of fruit from Sebastiano in the Sta. Rita Hills, Bien Nacido in the Santa Maria Valley, and Harrison Clarke in Ballard Canyon. Vinification involves indigenous fermentation in open concrete tank and aging in neutral French oak. This wine is unfined and unfiltered. The nose shows game, espresso, olive tapenade, white pepper, mint, and deep black cherry. The palate is moderate in weight with up front espresso, game, and full black cherry coming through with air.
