Winemaker notes: Its origins begin with the Sangiovese Grosso, a robust and generous grape type whose attributes are expressed best with time - longer periods of aging in oak vats and refinement in bottle. Brunello di Montalcino has a distinctive intense ruby color, tending to garnet with age, and notable scents of rich fruit and spices. On the palate the taste is uniquely characteristic to Montalcino. A superb wine to accompany roasted red meats.
Suggested that the bottle be opened several hours before serving.
